Revelation 12 – The Sign for Israel

In the last article concerning the birth of the Male-Child, it was determined that the Male-Child of Revelation 12:5 was to be born before the Woman goes into labor as referenced in Isaiah 66:7. The Male-Child is the corporate body of Christ. Christ is the head and the Church is the body. So the Male-Child is raptured, seized, or taken to heaven before the Woman (Israel) goes into labor (Tribulation). There is, however, an apparent issue that must be resolved once we read again Revelation 12:1-2 with Isaiah 66:7.

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.  –Revelation 12:1-2 NKJV

Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child.  –Isaiah 66:7 NKJV‬

This then is the paradox. The Male-Child born and taken in Revelation 12:5 was understood in the light of Isaiah 66:7 since John referred to it. The huios-arsen and teknon  (the corporate body) in Revelation 12:5 are to be born before pain and labor. However, according to Revelation 12:1-2, the child there will be born after the labor and pain felt by the Woman. Therefore, they cannot be one and the same. One child is born before labor and one is born after. Clearly John knows the context of Isaiah 66 and knowing it sheds light on this disparity.


Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.  --Isaiah 66:7-8 NKJV


The key here is at the very end, “she gave birth to her children.” In Isaiah 66 there is the plurality of children and not just one child. For the Woman in Revelation 12:1 to be in labor and in pain and still pregnant means the Male-Child must have been born already before the pain and labor began. The first child born is the Male-Child whose birth started with Christ and ends with the Rapture (harpazo) of the completed Body of Christ before the Tribulation. The child of Revelation 12:1-2 is the child to be born with the pain of labor (Tribulation). The Male-Child is not alone because there were children according to Isaiah 66, but even Revelation 12 makes this clear.


Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child…and the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”  --Revelation 12:13, 17 NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬


In other words, after the first birth which involved the Male-Child, the dragon will make war with the Woman (Israel) and her offspring. The Male-Child came before the labor (Tribulation) and taken to the throne of God (Revelation 4-5) and then there is offspring born under the pain of labor. Therefore, the Sign of the Woman in the Heavens under duress (Revelation 12:1-2) is a sign of Israel pregnant with her ensuing offspring that are born in labor (saved Gentiles from the Tribulation). This seems to be the only way to harmonize Revelation 12 and Isaiah 66 by keeping the illustration consistent.

The Sign of the Woman on September 23, 2017 is therefore a sign to Israel. This means the birth of the Male-Child and its harpazo to heaven must come before this time as the Church and Israel are separate dispensations.  With the Feast of Trumpets two days before the Sign of the Woman / Israel, it would seem appropriate timing for the Rapture of the Church at this time of the Last Trump. Many have asked if seeing the Sign of the Woman will be possible because of the sun. The truth is the we cannot see the whole sign because the sun and the atmosphere will not allow it. However, if we are raptured before this sign, then it is a moot point unless we will be like John who observed the sign from heaven without the glow of the interfering atmosphere. That would be an incredible sight and maybe we will see it.

The Sign of the Woman also coincides with the Sabbath of Return–Shabbat Shuvah. This special Sabbath is observed since it falls between Rosh Hashanah (Trumpets) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).  How fitting for this sign to coincide for the need of Israel to return and repent. Scripture readings for the Jews on September 23, 2017 will be: Hosea 14:2-10; Micah 7:18-20; Joel 2:15-27, & Deuteronomy 32. If the Rapture of the Church has just occurred a few days before, the world will be plunged into darkness and it will be Israel who will be looking for the light. This coming Sabbath of Return will probably be a turning point indeed and the Sign of the Woman is the icing on the cake.

Trying to understand here..
First it is a sign for the church, because the sign is found in the NT, Revelation 12:5. After the event, after the sign occurs and what transpires, then Israel will be scrambling to figure out what just happened?  They will then go to the Book of Revelation, understand the Rev 12 sign and will know the it is the time of Jacob's Trouble?  Is this how it will be a sign for Israel?  
My strongest desire is to have clear understanding of the time we are in right now.  

From the chart, the Christ Angle occurs on Elul 29, Sep 20, 2017 Wednesday... Woe!!!

The feast of trumpets (gives birth before labor?) happens 3 days BEFORE the sign, which signals the beginning of the Woman's labor ( the time of Jacob's trouble?).

That's how I see it, so the "sign" on the 23rd is the signal for Israel ~ and of course, they will figure out the Church had their "delivery" (and obvious sign) three days prior.

Sermon for Sunday, February 19, 2017. This is the 125th sermon preached in English on thecloudchurch.org. It was preached by Pastor/Missionary Evangelist Robert Breaker, who gives the Three-fold work of God and each is connected with a birth, and then shows the Revelation 12 and 15 signs, asking if they might mark something big that will happen in the world.

So one could say

The Revelation 12 sign placement in the New Testament itself answers the question "Who is the sign for?"  It is for the church, because it is in Revelation the NT, in the Christian Bible. 
Right NOW the sign is for the church, but after the date of the sign, something will occur that will prompt the Jews to look into the New Testament book of Revelation chapter Twelve and elsewhere in the Christian Bible. The sign will be for the Jews after Sept 20th. They won't look for anything until something happens to make them look. Would this be correct reasoning as well? 

Sure, Tyo, most likely many Jews will stumble into it in the way you've described.

As a reminder, ALL SCRIPTURE is God-breathed...

Many Jewish scholars are very familiar with the New Testament.  And, of course, it won't take long for folks to figure out it was CHRISTIANS who were harpazo'd outta' here.  It would cause them to look, but they won't have to go far ~ I suspect Rev 12 fever to take the world by storm in September.


Also, God will lead his servants to the correct understanding of His COMPLETE Word ~ both old and new testaments.
