Ooppps, yes that's right!Jarhead wrote:The Matthew 24 passage refers to the 2nd Coming ~ the clue is that they will SEE Him.
The Rapture will have believers snatched outta' here in the twinkling of an eye ~ big difference. We meet Him in the air; He does not come to earth.

This could be one more clue from the Bible, could the Rev 12 sign in the stars be the last sign before the tribulation?Tryphosa wrote:Jesus lists convergence signs in Luke 21.
So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?” Luke 21:7
And He said:
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:25
And if you notice Luke 21:25 is about the last of the convergence signs Jesus mentioned.

When Believers Die
When Believers Die
By Bill Perkins
“… the day of one’s death is better than the day of one’s birth.” – Eccl. 7:1
Death is one thing all humans have in common. Roughly 150,000 people die every day, about 107 per minute. Most of us have had close family or friends die. Let’s face it, we’re all basically dying–some sooner than others.
Here at Compass we’re often contacted by people who have a terminal illness and are looking for Biblical information on what happens when Believers die. So this article is meant to be a succinct tour of the key verses dealing with a Believer transitioning from earth to heaven.
Death Is Certain
Only Enoch escaped death (Gen 5:24). Elijah was taken up in the fiery chariot (2Kings 2:11), but he will return and die as one of the two witnesses in the Tribulation (Mal. 4:5). I believe and teach that John has yet to die* (John 21:20-23), but he will eventually die in the Tribulation as the other witness (Rev 11:3, 7).
So chances are, with the obvious exception of Jesus and the timing of the Rapture, one day you’re going to die. So what happens when you die? The Bible gives us some fascinating insight into what happens next.
The Book of Luke records an actual event, not a parable, about two people dying, prior to the cross. One man dies and goes to Paradise, the place where Believers went who died waiting for the Messiah to pay for their sins so they could go to heaven.
The other man went to Hades. There he had a body, was fully conscious, could think/reason/speak and felt pain. His words are chilling.
“In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.'” Luke 16:23-24
Thankfully, for those of us who are Born Again, who are Believers trusting in the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus’ death and resurrection, our sins are not counted against us and we will one day go straight to heaven.
“… having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” Col. 2:13″ (all are past tense, just saying…)
“Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,”
2Tim 1:10b
Heaven Will Knock Your Socks Off!
The Bible says heaven is better than you can imagine.
“but just as it is written,
‘THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.'” 1Cor. 2:9
I have quite an imagination. Yet regardless of what I can imagine would be wonderfully incredible in heaven, it’s better than that!
But before we die, we live our lives as aliens on a planet that was hijacked by Satan. Satan is “the god of this world” (2 Cor 4:4) and he’s hostile to Believers.
So Believers live in this life looking forward to the next.
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;” Phil. 3:20

Billy Crone: Don't Be Deceived
Billy Crone: Don't Be Deceived
From Prophecy Watchers
Published on Apr 28, 2017
Does the name Margaret McDonald ring a bell? How about John Nelson Darby and the real source of his 19th century rapture revelation? Or the unbiblical concept of a pre-wrath rapture? Crone’s trips to Scotland and the UK have exposed a deceptive agenda, all designed to discredit the blessed hope and convince Christians that they will be subject to all or part of the horrors of the Tribulation and the wrath of God. Don’t be deceived! In a thought provoking interview Billy sets the record straight by going right to the source of the confusion. Don’t miss this powerful defense of the rapture!
Crone goes a little deeper in this video
16: min, Billy Crone explains God's wrath is full 7 years
21: min new teachings must be rejected, not! Rediscover what has been there all along (rapture).

2 Thessalonians 2:3 ~ Dr. David R. Reagan
2 Thessalonians 2:3
Dr. David Reagan
“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction…”
– 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NASB)
The Bible never precisely states when the Rapture of the Church will take place. That’s why there is so much disagreement over when it will occur. All positions are based on inferences in the Scriptures.
Some believe the Rapture will occur in the middle of the Tribulation. Others place it near the end. And some combine it with the Second Coming. I happen to believe that the best inference of the Scriptures is that it will occur before the Tribulation begins.
I have many reasons for my belief, including scripture verses, prophetic symbolism, and logic. I have written about these reasons in detail in articles that are posted on our website (www.christinprophecy.org). I hope someday to put all my arguments together in a book devoted to the subject.
With regard to scripture verses, some of the more important ones that relate to the Rapture’s timing are the following:
Luke 21:36 — “…keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Jesus spoke these words in His Olivet Discourse which He delivered to His disciples the week He was crucified. They concluded a long speech in which He outlined the major signs of the end times that would signal the season of His return. Notice that He says that believers should live anticipating the Lord’s appearance at any time, and that they are to pray for their escape from all the horrors of the end times which He had been talking about. To me, this passage strongly infers a Pre-Tribulation Rapture.
1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 — “…you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.”
I consider this passage to be the most convincing one that points to a Pre-Trib Rapture. After all, the Bible clearly teaches in both the Old and New Testaments that the Tribulation will be a period of the pouring out of God’s wrath (Isaiah 24 and Revelation 6-19). This verse promises that Jesus will deliver believers “from the wrath that is to come.” A similar promise can be found in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 which states: “For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ…”
