Sir Isaac Newton
(Knew this, but did not know his formula, kinda simple or maybe I just forgot)
Sir Isaac Newton predicted world would end in 2060 AD
[by Dean Smith] Most know Sir Isaac Newton as the father of modern science. Newton who died in 1727 is considered among the world’s most influential scientists. He formulated the law of gravity and the law of motion thereby explaining the movement of the planets, moons and stars due to gravitational pull of larger bodies. It radically transformed man’s approach to astronomy.
But Newton was also an ardent Christian and had a tremendous interest in end-times theology. He spent hours researching the Bible on the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Re: Sir Isaac Newton
The info on the above post is somewhat confusing. Here is a link to a book about Issac Newton's Bible findings and an article, most illuminating!

The Book title is Newton's Riddle, the Mystery of Daniel's 70th Week Revealed.

19-Year-Old Isaac Newton’s List of Sins
19-Year-Old Isaac Newton’s List of Sins
----
Isaac Newton is one of the most remarkable, prolific, and influential cross-disciplinary scientists in human history. The Newton Project, one of these important digital humanities projects, catalogs the 4.2 million published and unpublished words by Newton, which are made available as interactive diplomatic transcriptions. Among them is this curious list of 48 sins 19-year-old Newton self-admittedly “committed” before Whitsunday:
BEFORE WHITSUNDAY 1662

[*]Using the word (God) openly
[*]Eating an apple at Thy house
[*]Making a feather while on Thy day
[*]Denying that I made it
[*]Making a mousetrap on Thy day
