D. Nobbman ~ Letters to President Trump

I thought this was an excellent idea, for the bother of a postcard it would be a great encouragement.  Consider sharing with your Christian friends:

Letters to President Trump :: By Dale V. Nobbman

Published on: February 26, 2017 by RRadmin7 Category:Dale V. Nobbman, General Articles

Evangelicals voted in record numbers during the 2016 presidential election. A majority  of them made a special effort to get out and vote in order to help elect Donald Trump.
Thanks in great part to the evangelical vote; Trump won what many would say was quite a miraculous victory over the media-favored Hillary Clinton.  It seemed to all of us deplorable, forgotten, and common American citizens to be a pure case of good triumphing over evil.
The shocked and saddened left-leaning liberal mainstream media, along with the angry “poor loser” Clinton liberal supporters and protesters, have been insisting ever since the election that Trump’s surprising win was due to Russia influencing the final vote count.
Well the mainstream media was partially right in that “someone” did influence the election results, but it wasn’t Russia. It was Almighty God, who always has the final say on who becomes a national or world leader at exactly His appointed time  (Daniel 2:21).
However, you will never find ungodly and unbelieving people accepting the fact that godly miracles affect human activity, including elections. After all, liberals cannot even admit to the fact there is a God who ultimately controls climate change—not humans.
The radical liberal segment of the Democrat Party now desire to reject the presidency of Donald Trump, just as they desired to reject God from the Democrat “platform” at a recent Democrat convention.  Don’t believe for a moment that God forgets such things!
Meanwhile, God heard the “millions” of fervent prayers from evangelical and patriotic Americans to save America from the clutches of liberalism and globalism. Christians and patriots utilized their godly “privilege” to pray, in order to pray for Donald Trump to win the election. Evangelicals and other American patriots had decided to cast their support behind Trump’s proposed policy promises and his desire to make America great again.
Trump did win the election, but his adversaries have made his first month on the job very difficult, to say the least.  Therefore, President Trump continues to need support from the same people who voted for him. We cannot go silent now and let him face his foes alone.
Both Donald and Melania Trump have acknowledged our God publicly. Most recently, Melania recited “The Lord’s Prayer” at the start of a rally for her husband. How much courage did it take for a First Lady to do such a thing? Her critics have attacked her for promoting the Christian religion. The couple has been mercilessly attacked over and over.
The Trump family did not need to enter a life of public service for their country. They could have—humanly speaking—lived “happily ever after” continuing in private life.  But, the fact is, God called Donald Trump to become president in order to do God’s will in America and the world, and especially to ensure America remains a friend to Israel.
The way President Trump has been warding off the “flaming arrows” of his adversaries reminds me of the similar abuse and cruel circumstances the apostle Paul faced during his ministry of preaching the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Paul summed it up this way:
“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”  (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
Paul once told the Christians at Corinth: “You have greatly encouraged me and made me happy despite all our troubles.”  (2 Corinthians 7:4)
And Paul wrote the Christians at Rome: “I long to see you so we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.”  (Romans 1:11-12)
Today, we need to encourage President Trump through all of his troubles during his first term presidency. After all, he took on these troubles for our sake, not his own!
I am suggesting one simple, yet effective way for the people who voted for Trump to continue providing him support and encouragement on a monthly basis during his presidency.
I suggest that on the first day of each calendar month we all write and mail President Trump an old-fashioned “snail mail” letter.  The letters would all arrive by the thousands about the same time in Washington D.C., therefore blitzing and swamping the White House mail room with a massive “tangible” show of support for Trump’s administration.
The idea is to provide for Trump’s enemies “undisputable” evidence as to the ongoing support he has from evangelicals and all other patriotic American citizens who want to help make America great again, protect our religious freedoms, and ensure America remains a steadfast and protective friend of God’s chosen people—the nation of Israel.
It can be a short and simple letter. For example:
“I want to thank you President Trump for everything you are trying to do to make America great again and to keep the citizens of America safe.  I support your efforts.”
Personally, I will note on my calendar to mail a letter the first day of each month to:

President Donald J. Trump
White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington D.C. 20500

March 1, 2017 will be my first mailing day for a letter to the president.
A single stamp, envelope, and piece of paper once a month will go a long way in providing the Trump family a show of Christian love, support, and encouragement!

Yeah, I'm going to pick up a box of post cards just for this!

Lord knows our poor president has had the typical joy of the election stolen from him.  I pray often (more than daily) for his protection and encouragement.

Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. Psalm 91:14
