The Star of Bethlehem
This is an amazing documentary ~ find the time to view, you'll be glad you did!
One final point...
A final item that was brought out on the DVD of this presentation:
At the moment of Messiah's death the full moon was in eclipse in Virgo from an earthy point of view (belwo the horizon) ~ but looking at the earth from a heavenly point of view, the blood red moon was in the sign of Aries, the lamb ~ Our passover lamb shed His blood and it was accepted by the Father.

Watched it here again for the first time. He presents an excellent case for the Star of Bethlehem.Jarhead wrote:A final item that was brought out on the DVD of this presentation:

The Star of Bethlehem
About the Blood moon, he mentioned it at about 52:00 and more. But when I first saw this vid, blood moons were not discussed much in the prophecy sites etc, but now with the blood moon tetrad coming up this next April, makes one ponder what lies on the horizon.

Re: The Star of Bethlehem
He also mentions the difference between astronomy and astrology.
At about 38: discusses Leo Constellation
At about 39:30 discusses the woman in the sky - Revelation 12
(Dang, wish I could remember where I read/saw this, but the position of the sky as written in Revelation 12 will occur again in 2017. The woman comes around the sky about in the correct area every year, but 2017 will be precise.)
It would seem that in the years to come, maybe they will find Christ's second coming fortold in the heavens.

As for the "exact" dates ~ the calendars have been shifted and years deleted in both the Julian and Hebrew calendars ~ yeah ~ we can scroll back and see the astronomical alignments, but "knowing" exactly which "year" it truly was is dang near undiscernible now.
It doesn't matter what WE call it ~ it occurred on God's timetable and that's that!
Re: The Star of Bethlehem
Don't think we will ever know the exact time, but close. Could'nt find my copy of Star of Bethlehem, so a new one was purchased, I am now obsessed with this and an suppose to be doing other things like bill paying.

The forum software is acting weird today ~ the quote function will not allow the cursor outside the quote.
But yeah ~ I bet Daniel's class was great!!!

.Is it possible Revelation 12:1-2 going to be fulfilled in 2017? .
Found it!
The Star of Bethlehem vid discusses (starting at about 38:00)what John saw in the sky, the woman with the moon at her feet etc, Revelation 12:1-2.
This short vid discusses this event again, the woman in the sky etc. The short discussion starts about at 2:00.

Re: The Star of Bethlehem
No one will ever know the exact date, but it sure seems close.
Daniel Matson's research is subject from the Bible but simular time frame.
Another comment on Rev 12:1-2

So, if this celestial event is the one spoken of in Revelation, we must make sure that it fits into the timeline. Revelation 12:1-3 says, "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads." According to astronomy computer programs (stellarium.org), on September 23, 2017, the moon will be in position under the feet of Virgo (Virgo Constellation), the sun will be over the constellation overlaying it in sunlight ("clothed with the sun"), Jupiter will be between Virgo's legs ("with child") and Mercury, Mars, and Venus will be in alignment next to her head, adding three 'stars' to the constellation Leo, forming a crown of twelve above Virgo's head. All four of these events and celestial bodies will be in place on that date, fitting John's apparent description. This is a notable celestial event."

Re: The Star of Bethlehem
Revelation 12 is not a 'rapture passage.' ~ it is approximately mid-point of Daniel's 70th Week. Just prior, the two witnesses are caught up to heaven, and in chapter 12 after the sign in the sky ~ Satan is evicted from Heaven and the Jew have fled Jerusalem. Also in the same passage is the further sign in the stars ~ the great dragon ~ which describes Satan's rebellion (ages past?) the heavenly war and Satan's eviction.
I have that software, though ~ it's kinda' cool!

More On The Star Of Bethlehem

Q. I am having an issue with the Magi saying they had “seen his star in the East.” If they were indeed the Parthian priests descended from Daniel’s group, which I believe they were, they would have been east of Bethlehem when they encountered the star, meaning they should have seen “his star in the west” when looking back toward Bethlehem. What am I missing? Are they meaning to say that they were in the east when they saw the star in the west?
A. Matt. 2:2 reads, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”
The confusion comes from the fact that the Greek word translated “east” in Matt. 2:2 actually means “rising”. It became associated with east because that’s where the sun rises. The Magi were literally saying they saw the star when it rose in the East. Then they followed it as it led them to Bethlehem.
This is the main reason I have trouble believing the “Star of Bethlehem” was a conjunction of planets or some other explainable astrological event. This star rose where they were and led them from there to Bethlehem. They were able to plot their course by its movement in the sky over a period of time that could have lasted for months. Its direction was so clear to them that it actually led them to Jerusalem, then waited in the sky while they conferred with King Herod, before taking them to the very house which the Lord was living where it stopped (Matt. 2:9). This was much more than a rare conjunction of planets. This was a supernatural phenomenon on a par with the Sun standing still for Joshua (Joshua 10:12-15).
When they had heard the king, they departed;
and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them,
till it came and stood over where the young child was.
Matthew 2:9

Re: The Star of Bethlehem
Of course, the Lord created all for His pleasure and He could have used them plus a special touch for the Magi ~ we won't know for sure until we're face-to-face to ask!

Scottie Clark (I think) went on to find the woman of Revelation 12. This video was made in 2011. He used what he learned in the Star of Bethlehem to find the woman of Rev. 12.
